    Full Name of the Resource : Functional Repeats in mouse cDNAs

    Brief Description : FREP database contains a compilation of mouse repeat sequences, derived from cDNAs with protein-coding potential, and their inferred molecular functional associations. The association of repeat sequence, position and repeat type with coding sequence (CDS), cDNA-genomic (mouse and human) mapping, poly(A) signal sites, protein domains/motifs, and disease MeSH terms permits the computational and manual inference of functional repeats (FREPs). FREPs may be associated with transcriptional variation, altered protein functions and/or disease.
